God,
I have to live with someone I've never met! What will this person be like? Will we get along? Do you think we'll end up good friends? I guess I'll see when school starts. But for now, please be with my roommate—whomever that may be. Please get us both ready for school and for living with each other.

Jesus,
This sounds crazy, so I'm just telling you right now. I think I'm actually going to miss my home, my parents and maybe even my brother and sister. I'm looking forward to being on my own, but I'm worried I'll miss everything that goes on here. Please help me to do what I can to keep in touch with my family.

Dear God,
I'll admit it. I'm starting to get nervous about this whole college thing. Am I making the right choices? If I am, then why do I feel excited and scared? Half the time I'm ready to graduate high school and try some new stuff. But the rest of the time, I just want to stay where I am. It's comfortable and safe. God, help me to stay calm and remember that you have a plan for me.

God,
Thank you so much for this opportunity to go to college! Everything is fitting into place. I'm ready to go! I'm also ready to learn more and be used by you.

Jesus,
When I get to college, I'm going to have so much going on: homework, tests, hanging out with friends, church stuff, time with you, campus activities. I know I have a tendency to over-commit. Help me to find some kind of balance so I don't stress out and burn out.

Dear Lord,
College is starting and I'm looking forward to:
Meeting new people
Taking cool classes
Late-night talks with my roommate
Getting out on my own
Making time to spend with you
Learning what you want me to do with my life.
